Märket's summer continues. Today it was as warm as yesterday, actually even warmer if possible since there was no wind.

Mats brought us two new members for our group: Thomas and Marcus, they came to fix the windmill. Today they drilled new holes for support wires and investigated what might be wrong with the aparate since it doesn't work properly. Wind didn't allow Tuomas and Marcus to arrive on north harbour or on to the island at all, so Mats fastened Serena to buoy.

Jori and Eikka continued with concrete work in magazine door frames. Moisture is about 90 % so concrete doesn't really dry and that is why the job is quite slow.

Raimo is the master of dishes. Minna could not manage from cooking and other duties without Raimo, his help is really priceless, thank you! Cooking today took more time than expected, there are 10 of us now, so also Jori and Eikka helped with dinner. Kotka boys are versatile, everything from carpenting to cooking goes.

Radioamateurs decided to take down their longest antenna, it is made from titan. Wheather forecast predicts more wind to the future days and we migth have to leave earlier than the original plan so it is in the safe side to pack exessive equipment allready. Falling down the antenna needed also help from Kotka boys and everything went well.

Radioamateurs are fun to listen: we have heard so far finnish, swedish, english, german, spanish, italian and russian language. International people and hobby.

One radioamateur, Miika, started his pension days today, so we selebrated that with fresh butter buns and coffee.
