Weather on the morning was cloudy but no rain and windspeed was low.
After four days the lighthouse has been very quiet. Olli seems to be
missing those radioamateur´s special speed with diffrent kind of phrases
and appreviations (Q) which radioamateurs uses in their radiocontacts. I
noticed that he has listened finnish radioamateur´s radiotraffic all the
day via internet.
We continued our expedition and found some interesting articles from the
lighthouse.
The lighthouse keepers were employees of The Finnish Maritime
Administration and as employee-benefit they have got apparently these
blankets. Letters MKH comes from "Meren Kulku Hallitus" (= The Finnish
Maritime Administration).
From the attic we found old and unfortunately very dirty flag. The logo
in flag is The Finnish Maritime Administration´s logo but it is old and
actually former Maritime Administration nowadays is one department of
The Finnish Transport Agency.
This very stranger thing is a mystery for us. Perhaps it is a press to
lubricate the lighthouse´s engines.
The sunset here in Märket was fine as always. It paints the surrounding
area with very warm colour. Beautiful isn´t it?
