First morning here for some of us. Seals were singing and the sun was shining when we started the day. Quite soon after breakfast we saw Sefyr & Mats approaching with our guests; 11 members of the lighthouse society.



Annukka did her first guided tour with this group (who already knew a lot about Märket) in Finnish, and Marcus did the tour with a swedish speaking lady.



Maria had cooked a giant portion of chicken pasta and after walking around the island, the group finally got to eat. After lunch they continued their trip to Signilskär & Heligman with Mats - even though some of them would have wanted to stay here with us (who wouldn't? :-).



After the visit, the lighthouse keepers continued their workday. The wind gained strength, but it was only beautiful to stare at the waves now and then while working. Maybe it was because of the wind, that we didn't get any more visitors today.



Mikko cleaned the whole toilet with a pressure washer, and the atmosphere in the toilet changed a lot...



Tuomas renovated the main stairs a bit, and now they are even more safe.



Marcus was making a whole bunch of firewood. Sari washed all the dishes as she did yesterday, but then she started to make art with Lotta.



Annukka painted the floor in the new kitchen, next project will be the dining room.



In the evening, we started to make sweet buns. The amount of dough was huge and actually the baking operation is still going on (10 pm). During the evening we also ate a great meal made by women and celebrated Sari's birthday with singing and a toast. Happy birthday Sari!
It's end of the day here in Märket soon, but before going to bed: sauna.
