Because of Sunday and because of Swedish time that some of us by accident followed we had our breakfast not until 9 o´clock. Most of us had a very good sleep but some of lighthouse residents did not sleep at all. Eventhough we did not see and hear anything, our very fashinating radioamateurs sat all the night by their equipments and created new contacts to the world. The night-time radio weather was not perfect, as we later heard (and this has nothing to do with an ordinary weather). Though the busy radioamateurs got up to 2500 contacts.



The morning swimming in the Swedish side lagoon "Modersmagan" almost did not succeed because of the terns. Unlike last summer the way over the rocks was mostly dangerous and the morning swimmers had to protect themselves against the aggressive birds and find an other way to the water.




After the breakfast Jussi and Pekka continued the work on the roof of magazine building. And good so because soon after they had finished the job it started to rain. Minna-Lotta finished the kitchen door with a beautiful blue colour and Lasse continued with the kitchen windows.





We are looking forward for next week because it is going to be very changeable and exciting. We will say goodbye to our handsome radioamateurs and say welcome to a TV-team who is going to film our work at the lighthouse. And that is just the beginning. On Tuesday we will finally become the new and safer steps to the lighthouse. On Thursday are we going to lift the windmill if the weather contitions are favourable. So we don´t feel guilty about having a little bit lazy day today.
