At last it was a sunny morning. We all slept well after a wonderful sauna evening and sat almost promtly at 8 o´clock in the kitchen. Outi had prepared a delicious breakfast for us, an omelette with fried tomatos. This time it was Johans turn to get a special plate: a flower made of tomatos.




For our Strömsö guests, Susanna, Esa, Jim and Johan it was the last day at the lighthouse. They were very excited about the lifestyle here. They had noticed that the whole island is in a continuous movement. We are all the time carrying something, moving things from one place to another. It must be very intresting seen from a birds eye view.




Our boat driver Mats came at noon to take the tv-team back to Eckerö. Thay finished their door-project this morning and we are all looking forward to the televisionprogram they filmed material for here on the island. Keep an eye at Strömsö in October!





A new visitor arrived with Mats: Anton, radioamateur who is staying here in his tent for a couple of days. This time Mats used a new landing place on the north side of the island.



Somehow the day became a cleaning day. Harri and Pekka sorted all the rubbish. They noticed soon that recycling is something that is not allways functioning as well as it should. Jussi and Ari cleared the drainage in the backyard of the old konstruktion waste. And Outi got so excited about cleaning the shop and museum so that she forgot to cook the afternoon coffee for the boys.






The kitchen finally got it´s apricot colour painted on the walls (well, three of them - then we ran out of paint). When the evening sun peeked in from the iron ventiles we got a hintch of how nice and cosy the kitchen will be when it will be finished - we can hardly wait!




Even the sauna project continued today: some product improvement was made and the sauna now has a floor and a proper bench to sit on. So, another saunaevening to look forward to!
