Sunny day again. Wind blowed from south-west with 9 m/s. The garden was quite calm as well as the eastern harbour. The spring and summer in mind Pasi K fixed a birdhouse already yesterday. Since we wanted to take a good photo with nice sunshine we had to wait till morning. We hope that some bird will accept it and declare it with singing.



Today passed mainly by waiting for visitors. During few last days there
has not been any seals in sigth and this made us uncomfortable: it is general knowledge, sort of promise, that there are seals here. We could find nothing on the island south from here, besides the boat route coming from Eckerö. Luckily in the north, some nautical miles away, there was a rock full of seals. We were able to see them through the binoculars. Our idea was to propose that island to the skipper of the boat in case they ask about seals and would like to see them. The visitors arrived and told us that they had seen hunreds of seals on the way here. And they were happy. And we were saved. The visitors arrived with the boat under the flag of Aland, blue flag with yellow cross and red cross on the yellow. Beautiful.



First the visitors gathered for a photo. They were pharmacists from
Mariehanm, the capital of Åland.



Lorenz told them about the history on Märket and guided them up to the top of the tower. During their coffee-brake Lorenz entertained them with his violin. They looked happy. And we will now hereby say special thanks for the coffee and cakes and all that also we got.
