This morning we woke up early knowing that Mats would start his boat before nine and arrive here around ten o'clock bringing a new lighthouse keeper Tiina to Märket. Klas, Lorenz and Lotta left the island which feels pretty empty now since there is only three person here. Besides the newcomer Tiina, Heini and Mika will stay here for another week.

Tiina occupied the museum room and was guided around the island, but soon she was seen scratching the door with Heini. Meanwhile Mika did a great but dirty job: emptying the toilet.



Heini decided to start working with the doors of the dormitory since no one doesn't have to sleep there now. Next week there should be more volunteers coming so the doors need to be replaced before that. In one door there was a huge crack in the mirror but it was fixed with glue and by hammering from the both sides of the mirror.



Mika has been plastering the ceilings and his task is also to keep the plastered walls humid so that the plaster doesn't dry up too fast.



None of us is willing to do the householding here so we made a decision to eat only once a day and everyone is cooking on her/his turn. And the same with the dishes.
