When we woke up this morning we found out that the wind had turned again back to North bringing dark clouds and freezing cold weather.



Because of the wind chill factor today was the coldest day during our visit. At noon the rain started again.

Today we finished working in the lighthouse master´s room: Rotted floor boards have been changed and the original wooden panelling has been dug out. We left the room waiting for finishing the floor and renovating the wall panels.

Since we have no well in the island we have to collect rain water and move the water from barrels to larger containers.




By dinner we celebrated beginning of the weekend by having special meal: steak with pepper sauce and carlic potatoes, as a dessert we had pannacotta ā la Tuula.







Cold and heavy wind made all outdoor chores more challenging than usual.



Although June has begun nights are still quite dark – especially when sky is cloudy.
